The 2009 season has come to an end and we are very pleased with the performance of our drivers and cars. Scotty Won the Buckeye Track Championship in Lt. World Formula. Cameron got 4th place in Jr. Honda at Buckeye
As many are aware, I became ill in April of 2008 which has severely impacted our race schedule. We had to cut back our goals and schedule in order to compete in 2008 & 2009 and it wouldn’t have been possible without the help of our sponsors and many individuals and families that have helped us over the last year and a half. We wanted to give a special thanks to Tom Eital, Adam Holbein, Tom Tolbert, Rich Cagle, Eric Rankin, Jeff Clouse, Mike Streicher, Larry Ebert, Dale Hall, PaPa Goffin, Cici’s Pizza, City BBQ, HiTech Security, IBS Collision Center, BDI, Robbie Stanley Racing, Ziggy’s Motorworks, USAC racing, The Nuckles Family, The Buckeye Club and all the other racing families that have helped us out to make this season not only possible for us but also a huge success! After 5 years racing Quarter Midgets, the boys raced their last race on 8/24/09 and Scotty and Cameron BOTH WON THEIR HEAT & FEATURE races to end their quarter midget careers, A GREAT ENDING AND A PROUD DAD! Until I am better and am released to go back to work, we are going to have to take some time off from racing because it has just become too much both physically and financially for us to keep up with. In the meantime, the boys plan on practicing through the winter and looking for sponsors so they can hopefully get back on the track for the 2010 season. Again, we thank you all from the bottom of our hearts and hope to be back on the track soon…
